- hair: product knowledge and equipment - classic and modern hairdressing.
- wig, moustache, beard and other loose hair.
- use of crepe hair
Theory:
- face anatomy and physiology
- (dermatology) common skin diseases and disorders
- professional and personal hygiene
- human relations, public relations
- first aid
- wig making
- plaster work
- history of make-up and its development
- colour and light studies
- different kinds of make-up
- corrective make-up with relation to the eyes, nose, lips, eyebrows.
Project:
-Candidates are required to write a Project on a subject relevant to the study of make-up, film, theatre and/or history.
